Pigeon breeding determines the lives of the jubilarians

Helmut and rita trinkerl from ebern celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on friday. The passionate breeder of pedigree pigeons, helmut trinkerl, born in oberelldorf, has "his little pigeon" rita met at a church dance in altenstein. The couple has three children and seven grandchildren.
The jubilarian went to elementary school in oberelldorf and had to help run his parents' farm during and especially after his school years, which is why he was unable to learn a trade. From the age of 18 until his 21. He worked for the gaudlitz company in coburg from the time he was a teenager. "I was also active as a milk driver", says, says helmut trinkerl. He was then employed for 41 years, until his retirement in 2011, at the company kugelfischer in ebern as a worker and finally as a recruiter.
His wife rita also had her job there. She comes from bischwind am raueneck and was born schineller. On 25. Helmut and rita were married in august 1967 and lived in bischwind for two years after that. Then they moved to ebern into a rented apartment. A separate house was built in haydnstrabe in ebern in 1984. "That's why we couldn't go on vacation for many years, first we had to pay off the house", says helmut trinkerl. It was only in the last ten years that the jubilant couple afforded themselves a vacation now and then. For many years the jubilarian could not work, because she had to take care of her three children. "When these were coarser, I took on various cleaning jobs", says rita.
Pigeons have been accompanying the couple for about 50 years. "I came into contact with it through an uncle from coburg", helmut trinkerl remembers. He is mighty proud of his terrible successes. With his animals he has visited national and international exhibitions and "quite already abgeraumt". What was its gross success? "I became european champion with my cauchois pigeons, says the jubilarian proudly. Many buyers from abroad had already come to him because they wanted to have from him race pigeons. "Currently one from america has registered", says helmut trinkerl. He comes almost in the black, when he tells that he is a breeder for pigeons and his animals help him to relieve stress, whereby almost the jubilee day has fallen somewhat into the background.
His wife let him preserve and carry along his hobby. It is rather creative. "Well, I like to make individual cards for weddings, birthdays or other occasions", she says modestly. In the circle of acquaintances these cards are very popular.

Breathing a sigh of relief in the bamberg puppet theater

There is only one move and it will be no sooner than 2021. The fact that everything remains more or less the same means a big relief for the theater management and friends of the bamberger marionette theater. Because up to now it looked as if the theater would have to find accommodation at an interim location for a few years, master two relocations and also still take the audience with it despite the double change of location.

"This is of course very good news for us", says theater director maria sebald. Because now not only can long-term requests from visitor groups be answered at all, but also new artistic productions can be planned. "I am currently researching for the thornroschen, there will be a second marchen for children and families, maybe also a shakespeare-stuck", betrayal sebald. After months of uncertainty, her thanks go not least to christian lange (CSU), the mayor of the city of culture, who had worked hard to find a solution. It was he who gave her the good news. "We are now planning to meet again soon to finalize a few details", says the theater director.

Security concept: ministers call for a tough decision

Security concept: ministers call for a tough decision

"On 12. December, the league must unanimously adopt a security concept and then implement it in all clubs," emphasized lower saxony's interior minister uwe schunemann (CDU) on the fringes of the interior ministers' conference in rostock. Otherwise, she said, countries are forced to deploy additional police to ensure safety at stadiums. "And we will have to charge for that," said schunemann.

North rhine-westphalia's head of department ralf jager (SPD) also warned: "the DFL members' meeting on 12. December is well advised to decide on its approach." this one still has some bugs, but is going in the right direction. This includes the clubs doing more for fan work, ensuring that fans are accompanied to away games, or increasing security in the stadiums with additional controls. "Our goal is to preserve this fan culture, these great experiences on saturday afternoons. And that's why we have a common interest in getting the 0.5 percent of violent offenders out of the stadiums," jager said. But if the clubs continued to pull, the interior ministers had to act.

Two dead in drunk truck driver's ghost ride

A 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman from hanover died in the collision with the wrong-way driver near bremen. A total of eleven vehicles were involved in the mass accident, said a police spokesman on wednesday. Two people were slightly injured. The 47-year-old man who caused the accident had been taken from his driver's home in a drunken stupor, a police spokesman said. At the request of the verden public prosecutor's office, an arrest warrant was issued this afternoon.

On new year's eve, the driver of the tractor-trailer from latvia drove onto the highway at the stuhr interchange (lower saxony) in the opposite direction to the direction of travel. When the driver realized his mistake, he turned around on the three-lane stretch of road. The transverse truck train became an unavoidable obstacle for several motorists. Cars skidded into the crash barriers on the wet road or collided with other cars. The section of highway had to be partially closed for several hours for the cleanup work. Police estimated the total damage at around 85,000 euros.

Frequent visits to the doctor? Physician president calls for co-payment

New physician president klaus reinhardt advocates patient financial co-payments against excessively frequent doctor visits.

"In the case of multiple and completely unnecessary visits to the doctor, a moderate economic contribution can contribute to a more responsible use of our scarce healthcare resources," reinhardt told the newspapers of the funke media group. "Not every visit to the doctor is necessary and sensible."There are people who have had two or three general practitioners and regularly seek a second or third opinion. "That's not possible," said reinhardt, who was elected president of the federal medical association in may.
